This Wusthof Culinar Hollow Edge Santoku knife feels absolutely magical to use. It slices through anything I need it to as if it's going through hot butter. Smooth, efficient, a real work horse. Using this knife makes a person actually feel professional in the kitchen! Because of all the raves this knife has garnered from dinnerguests, we've given 5 of these as gifts to family members and close friends. I have the 10" Culinar Chef's knife that is wonderful, but I don't even use it anymore since I purchased this Santoku. I'm now looking for the 5" Hollow Edge Santoku to add to my collection. It's not easy to find.

We bought this knife for our son. He has been helping in the kichen since he was three, and is training as a professional. He says this is the best knife he has ever used and is very easy to keep clean.

I have a couple of Santuko Knives. While hands down this is the nicest looking, I have found that the Henckels Pro S Santuko fits better and feels better in my hand. One reviewer mentioned that the Henckels did not have the Hollow Edge like the Wusthof's, but this is incorrect. The Henckels is called: Henckels Pro S 7" Santoku Knife - Granton Edge.
