Bought ice crusher 1st of July 2009, and have used it every day since. Makes great ice chips for almost any drink. Will crush the ice as fast as you can drop them in the shoot(May jam if try to fill shoot first, but easy to clear). It is fast and not as noisey as others. Pretty good size ice catcher, and a little hard to pour ice out at first. Also, if seems not to work when turn switch on, be sure the ice catcher is seated in all the way. There is a safety switch if ice catcher is removed. Enjoy, we sure have.

I didn't want a "shaved" ice machine, I wanted a real "crushed" ice machine and this fulfilled my needs. When I was looking and read the reviews, some people thought the size of the ice was a little big but to me it's the perfect size ice. It lasts in a drink and doesn't melt immediately like really fine ice chips would do. I would highly recommend it for home use. My only complaint is that it won't fit under my top cupboards. This is a wonderful product for people that don't have a fancy refrigerator with ice in the door.

I was expecting a fast ice crusher, comparable to the one I had in my fridge door. This one takes a lot longer to crush. It makes too much noise. I wish I could return the item,
