This is a very heavy bed. Reasonably easy to assemble. Very cheap laminate -- chipped during construction.

I bought the bed, headboard, nightstand and 6 drawer dresser. The color is a light yellow, creamy swirl which looks like a wood grain pattern. It calls for 2 people to assemble but I had no problem doing it by myself and I am a 120lb female. Its heavy though so once it was assembled I couldn't move it alone. I am, however, superwoman when it comes to putting stuff together so normal people may need help. :) The laminate is junk. It is so thin just a light scratch just kills it. My aunt was trying to help and set a drawer next to the dresser. It fell over and messed up the edge on the drawer and the corner of the dresser pretty badly. Over all tho the price is alright and it looks darling in my daughters room. I don't expect it to last cosmetically for very long. Renee
