We use these handy pots to keep our coffee and hot water piping hot for hours. It's actually saved us coffee because we only need to brew when people drink it all instead of when it gets cold.

It would have been more helpful to know the height of the pot without the lid. It was a bit taller than I needed but we made it work and it keeps the liquid hot for a very long time. Half a pot of hot coffee left on Friday is still warmer than luke warm by monday morning.

I'll admit, I was a bit apprehensive, due to the "blemish" comment in the product description. Ultimately, none found! This airpot is the best one of the last four I'd purchased, two of which were also of the 'pump handle' variety. The brushed stainless finish also coordinates well with my other countertop appliances. I plan to buy another one for the vacation home to replace the 'button pump' type we have there.
