I bought this heater and placed it on the side of my turtle tank. This little heater is well worth the money. It keeps the water in my tank at a constant temperature. I have not had any problems with it at all. My turtle from time to time occasionally climbs on the heater. At first I was worried she may knock it off the side of the tank but the suction cups keep it securely fastened to the tank! I am really glad I bought this product.

Good for shallow water tanks (we have a turtle). Gives gentle heat and the suction cups work very well -- we use a rubbermaid tub.
