This usb hub is the smallest 4 port I've seen. The input cable is not "captive", instead it uses a mini usb hub cable, like those used for digital cameras, and it plugs in on the side. This cable has two usb cables on the computer end, so that it can suck more power for the attached usb accessories; although this seems kind of pointless, if you have a very power hungry accessory, you might as well hook it up directly to the computer, instead of the usb hub. An amber light glows to indicate its on. It has a power inlet for an optional power supply, although it does not come with one. I tried it out with a power supply that came with a bluetooth headset I have and it worked, but clearly this is optional as it takes power from the usb port itself. There is not much more to say, it just works, no drivers to install and no hassles whatsoever. I give it a high score mostly because of its stylish design as it does not work any better or worse than any other hub out there.
