This vacuum cleaner is a great value for the money. It has excellent suction, I love the powerful hand held tools. The bagless canister is easy to remove and reinstall. Not to mention, it is the coolest color one could possibly imagine for a vacuum cleaner. It has been doing a commendable job of removing pet hair around my house. The cord holder is a little annoying and the light doesn't exactly point at the ground in front of the vacuum cleaner but I'm willing to overlook that because the the rest exceeds my expectations.

At first I thought this was a glorious vacuum for the money. It had excellent suction, I loved the powerful hand held tools. The bagless canister is easy to remove and reinstall. Not to mention, it is the coolest color one could possibly imagine for a vacuum cleaner. It had been doing a commendable job of removing pet hair around my house. The cord holder is a little annoying and the light doesn't exactly point at the ground in front of the vacuum cleaner but I was willing to overlook that because the the rest exceeded my expectations. But it always had sort of a smell to it that I recently discovered was an overheating motor. It ended up melting the plastic housing and the lever that holds it upright. I contacted Amazon, and a new one has been sent to me and so far it is performing the same except it too smells like something is burning, I hope it ends up being ok. I had previously rated this product with 5 stars I tried to change my star rating but the editing feature wouldn't let me.

I absolutely HATE to vacuum. I hate the noise, the hassle with the cord, and the awkwardness of the entire operation, however, living in a carpeted apartment makes it necessary for one to keep it clean via vacuuming. Completely annoyed with our current vacuum and it's use of too many bags, I set out to find a bagless model that had good ratings and an affordable price. What I got with this Sunpentown vacuum was much more than I anticipated. It is extremely powerful, heavy-duty, much quieter than any other I have ever used, plus it's a spiffy candy-apple-red. After attaching the handle, I vacuumed the apartment and was completely amazed at all the crap it picked up considering our carpets were professionally shampooed 3 weeks ago. The attachments are good, the hose is supple and moves easily, the dirt cup and filters are easily removed and replaced, and it's got a carrying handle for use on stairs. So far there is only one thing that bothers me and that is the cord storage hooks. They swivel too easily and the cord seems to not want to stay on them very well. The plug also doesn't have one of those built-in clips that attach to the cord. Despite that one insignificant annoyance, I highly recommend this vacuum.
