The flashlight works well and the output is quite bright for its battery size. I've had larger Streamlights, which were known for durability and quality and this light appears to be no exception. The lanyard is a nice touch, for example, I have one hanging on a hook by the back door, which makes it convenient and out of the way. The only thing preventing 5 stars is that you have to press the on/off switch twice, to switch from normal lamp to the LEDs and the LED beam is better focused, producing a smaller, more concentrated spot of light, than the normal lamp. All in all, I'm very happy with the flashlight, which gets a lot more use than my other models, simply because of the convenience and performance in a relatively small package.

I bought this flashlight after looking at many compact flashlights. I was using a MAG 3D flashlight. I wanted a more compact, lighter flashlight and one that would give me more light for a set of batteries. This one does all that. Only thing that could have been better is the focussing ring. Turning it does produce as good a change as in my MAG 3D. The light intensity is good for a flashlight of this size.

The xenon bulb does a good job of lighting up an area, considering that it is so small. The three LEDs put out sufficient light for a small area, just like most LEDs. The flashlight itself is a little long to stow away in your pocket comfortably, but I like that it takes AA batteries rather than AAA, which run down fairly soon even when powering LEDs. The only complaint I have (and it's a tiny one, I admit) is that with each push of the power button the flashlight cycles through OFF/xenon/OFF/LED, and it would be handy to be able to go directly to the xenon or LED on the first push.
