I BOUGHT THIS TRAGIC EXCUSE FOR A MACHINE FOR THE 2ND TIME BECAUSE I THOUGHT MAYBE THE 1ST ONE JUST COINCIDENTALLY HAD SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT, NOPE!!! THESE THINGS REALLY JUST STRAIGHT UP DONT WORK. I CANNOT EVEN GET 1 SINGLE STITCH THROUGH THE TEST FABRIC. I WAS STARTING TO THINK I MIGHT JUST BE STUPID BECAUSE NO PRODUCT COULD POSSIBLY BE THIS BAD, BUT NOW THAT IVE READ THE REVIEWS I KNOW NOW THAT IM NOT THE PROBLEM, ITS THE MORON THAT DESIGNED THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE!!!!

I was really disappointed in this item. I thought because it was a "singer" it was going to be a great item. Its NOT! The needle doesnt raise high enough to put fabric through (it feeds some through...but not a lot). It sticks. DO NOT BUY! If I could rate zero stars...I would.

I am amazed that Singer has not recalled this product. Of all the reviews that I read on the web, I may have seen one or two good ones. This product does not do what it claims. I spent a pretty long time trying to get a small job done, but eventually gave up. Like many others, I thought that I lacked the skills for the job - so I practiced. That was a waste of time! Now that I have read the reviews on this site, I feel somewhat better about my sewing ability (not much ability). However, I still don't feel better about this machine. I will be returning it! I hope Singer finds out how people feel about this product, and does something before their name is tarnished any further.
