I bought this 11 months ago, and a few days ago I was melting butter in a glass bowl when inside on the right it started smoking and melting. There was no metal inside the microwave so I am not really sure what happened. Also the glass tray slips off the inside track very frequently during use. It does look good, and I only paid $30 for it on clearance so I got what I paid for. Other than the tray slipping it worked great, right up to the melt down.

I love this microwave, so small and powerfull with a great look to it. Great for an apartment or dorm, or even an office!
