Silvey SDM-4 Chisel Chain Grinder

The Silvey SDM-4 is the chisel grinder that started it all. First developed in the late 70's, the SDM-4 is now several decades old, but is still the preferred choice of many professional timber fallers. Comes with all the features of the newer grinders, including a tooth hold-down system, assuring no movement when grinding. It it powered by a reversible, high torque, sealed bearing direct drive motor designed for years of maintenance free use. Comes complete with diamond tipped dressers and slide adjustments which allow the grinder to be set up with any special angles needed. Has an adjustable light, tripod stand and comes with an 8" x 3/16" grinding wheel.
