I've owned one of these for about a year. The vacuum has worked fairly well, and you do get a long hose and decent accessories. These come with cheap furniture casters, and not surprisingly one broke a few months ago. Since they are mounted on the plastic "legs" that fasten to the side, you can't easily replace them with something better. The casters are not covered by the warranty, and the replacements are featured prominently on the ShopVac site. You must purchase a whole set, depending on your model they are about $3-10. The casters are odd dimensions so you can't easily find a substitute. This seems like a bit of a racket to me, and cheap build quality and unfriendly designs like this drive me nuts. Granted, in the big picture this is just a few dollars, but if this sort of thing bothers you I'd recommend finding something better. Also, note that filters are much cheaper here than on the ShopVac site.

This Shop Vac is working out great. It was easy to assemble and the attachments are very handy. I like having the attachments stored on the machine itself. The hose is actually 8' long. (Unless the Amazon listing has been corrected, it's described as 7' long.) My only request from Shop Vac would be to include the universal adapter.

The title says it all. Motor died after about 2 hours of use. When taking it apart to look for a fuse or breaker I noticed that it was proudly made in the USA and a couple of screws designed to hold motor to case were missing. My next shop vac will be Hecho in Mexico. Items like this are problematic when purchasing on Amazon. Cost of shipping back under warrantee wouldn't justify the hassel. I just will junk it and replace with another Brand.
