My old vacuum cleaner had broken just a few days before the Christmas, and I decided to simply throw it out and find a new one. I was looking for the upright, light weight and inexpensive vacuum. This Hoover was a good fit.
I was pleasantly surprised how strong the suction is. My carpet turned lighter after I cleaned it. I even tested the cleanness out by walking in my white socks the whole day. Surprisingly, they were still white at the end of the day. Embedded Dirt Finder system works very well, showing you the real carpet condition.
Furthermore, this vacuum is light (at least 5 lbs lighter than my previous one) for the upright vacuum cleaner and easy to carry up stairs.
One disadvantage of this Hoover is that it is bagged and you need to buy the new bags once the old ones are out. I also could not find the bags in a couple of quite big stores. Secondly, the jet engine is noisier than my previous vacuum cleaner engine. Wearing earplugs helps me a lot.
All said, a great unit for a great price.
