I have had this skillet for 3 years now. Everything about this skillet is awesome except the non stick finish has finally worn off. It was starting to at 2 years but this last year it is now completely gone. It also started to get hotter then it used to making it hard to guage temperature. I am ordering another one because I enjoyed it so much- just wished it lasted longer. PS I had an all clad skillet for $300 and took it back after I received the cuisinart.

I bought 2 of the Cuisinart CSK-150 in 2008, so here it is 1 year later and here is my review. Well I bought these for work,we cook at least once a week for 25 people. These pans are Fantastic, they heat up very fast and cook very fast. I have cooked a lot of food on them and they still clean up great. I use plastic or rubber to cook with and there is no scratches at all, they have held up very nice. You have to watch the food some times because they cook to fast,so you have to adjust the heat. Lids are very strong and clean up nice. The only problem I can see is where the lid touches the pan on the rim it is wearing a little, other then that these pans are worth the money and will last a long time.

I've received two units which both had serial numbers blackened out, a concern about which I had read in some other customer reviews. The first unit had obviously been used (water stains on the interior surface and oddly packaged), so I sent it back. When I received the 2nd unit it appeared to be new but also had the serial numbers blackened out (and new ones stamped underneath), so I called Cuisinart. Cuisinart indicates that a serial number blackened out does NOT indicate a factory reconditioned unit because factory reconditioned units have a "FR" stamped on it - and it's possible that an incorrect serial number was applied originally. So - aside from all of that - I am thus far happy with this skillet. The only negative is the fact that the temperature control is difficult to remove from the skillet (very tight) - it's a little difficult to insert, but awkward/difficult to remove afterwards. How would I rate this product now? For some reason I can the words of my earlier review, but I cannot edit the number of stars I orignally gave - (What sense does that make???). Anyways, I'd give this product a 4.Cuisinart CSK-150 1500-Watt Nonstick Oval Electric Skillet
