I have had this item for over 1 and half years now. It still works perfectly. I am a little concerned over the cleaning of the hose as it is looking a little dark. Instead of using the crazy chemicals that Bissell provides or suggests I use Seventh Generation carpet cleaner. I just follow the directions and add the cleaner the same as Bissell's cleaner. I am happy that I can use a more eco friendly product to get the stains out. As for the concern of it leaving the carpet wet, hello! You are steam cleaning/ washing your carpet. For what you pay and what it should do this is a great product. I have had no issues with it leaking, even when using the hand attachment.

Our dog has house training problems, so he has accidents sometimes, which leave, er, spots. So i got this, and WOW it works GREAT, i like that it has two setting for it's hands free mode. To be honest it kind of eats the formula on it's deep cleaning mode, but unless it's a REALLY set in stain, the surface mode works fine. Yes, it leaves the carpet damp, but so do all carpet cleaners. My son thinks it's awesome too, he's named it "PCF one." (he's nearly three.)

I hadn't heard of the Spot Bot prior to receiving one as a gift. I have a dog and 2 cats and there is always something to clean up. This machine is great!! Lightweight and easy to transport. Whether it's a setin stain or a quick clean up it does both very well. You must get the Oxy Gen and Pet Stain/Odor remover that are recommended, they are expensive but well worth it. Absolutely the best I've ever used, can't live without it!
