I was so pleased with this convection microwave that this is my second one. The last one was purchased 10 years ago. I needed another oven during the holidays and I can only have one oven and a microwave or a double oven and no microwave so I opted for this convection microwave. It works great. I can use it as an oven when needed and also as a microwave. It is big enough inside so you can put a 9x13 pan and it still moves around on the turn table. To have the inside this big is a must. I would highly recommend it to anyone. NOTE: In order to pop popcorn, you need to have the bag setting on something and you can use a glass pie plate turned upside down. The book calls for something else but this glass pie plate works great and usually everyone has one of those.

I got this because of the novelty of it. However, within a very short time, this was my 'do it all'. One of the reviews said he had baked a bundt cake in it. I can't count the cakes I have baked in it. It is my first choice for an oven. When the pan is too big, it will go into the regular oven. I am not sure this particular one has the combination cooking or not, but if you haven't tried it, you should. After almost twenty years, it is finally not doing what it should be doing, so I am going to replace it. I cannot live without my Shart Microwave Convection oven.

The Sharp R-930AK is as good as a second oven. There isn't anything you can't cook, and cook well in this unit. Very user-friendly, easy to clean and attractive as a cabinet insert or free standing on the counter. Our first Sharp Convection Microwave lasted 10 years. Fortunately, for us, we were able to replace the old unit with a new duplicate model. We are extremely pleased with this brand and its' many features. It is a true value for your dollar.
