First of all this mattress was supposed to come with a pump and it didn't. So, I was annoyed about that. Also, the material is so cheap and uncomfortable- I would feel bad having my child sleep on it. I am returning it.

I just received this mattress cover today and I am trying to decide whether to keep it or not. I like it and I don't like it. I thought it would look different and be heavier. I will probably give to my mother when I get tired of it.

I reviewed lots of mattress pads and am pretty satisfied. The cover itself is fairly thin. It's definitely not luxurious. However, it is made out of breathable material and will fit over any mattress -- even extra deep. And good news, it doesn't make the crinkly sound that many covers do. Moreover, you don't feel as though you're sleeping on on a garbage bag. Basically, once it's on, you won't notice it, which is a good thing. For the price, it's a good value.
