Orders with an uploaded photo require a proof which will be emailed to you within approximately 1-3 business days. Once the proof is approved, production time will begin. Uploaded photos will be accepted in the following formats: Images that are in .JPG or .TIF file formats Images that are at least 300 dpi and minimum size of 5 x 7 Images that are clear when inspected up close Images with no exposure issues (i.e. not too dark/too light) Images that have NOT previously been edited or cropped Images that have been properly scanned (see below) The following images are not recommended for use: Images shared/stored on websites (low resolution) Images sent back and forth via email Cell phone images (very low quality) Scanning Images: Glossy photos provide better results when scanned Please wipe the scanner and photo before scanning so that no debris is picked up in the image Only scan original photos, not photocopies Images must be scanned at 300 dpi with a minimum size of 5 x 7 Save images as .JPG or .TIF at the highest quality setting possible Do not perform any photo editing or cropping on your computer This item is custom made especially for you upon order.
