These glasses are so much better than the other Libbey brand glasses we've purchased before, it's hard for me to believe they a) are from the same manufacturer or and b) are as inexpensive as they are.We love these glasses. Why? They are heavy and stable; the quality of the glass is excellent; they don't pick up water stains from the dishwasher, and the glasses are very durable.We are very happy with the glasses and feel they were an excellent buy!

I was very happy with these glasses when I first got them. They're beautiful, and they seem to be sturdy. But it didn't take long before they started breaking, one by one, from things as simple as being knocked over on the table. Within six months, we didn't have a single one of the tall glasses left. I know my family is accident prone, but most glasses should have withstood some of these knocks. So I took a closer look. If you run your finger along the lip of these glasses, you'll notice the top is thicker than the glass of the body. In other words, the glasses are actually quite thin and delicate. Their sturdiness is just an illusion. Still, these are nice glasses for the price. Just don't expect them to be sturdy, because they most certainly are not that.
