These tubes and expansion packs are great. The kids love setting up a new maze each week. A lot of fun. They click together easily and are easy to clean.

It goes together just fine, but there are a couple things that could be improved: the ring at the top has tiny holes all over it. This is so that the hamster can breathe, obviously, but it becomes a problem when the hamster pees up there. The outhouse part is okay, except that the door is at an angle, which makes it tough to open. The wheel is fine. It is especially nice if you have a smaller cage because it attaches to the outside. It can be a bit squeeky, but we just spray a bit of cooking oil into the center bar and it stops. The entire thing (except the wheel) can be difficult to get into place tightly so that it does not wiggle. Overall, the wheel is the most useful part of the kit.

I own many of the CritterTrail products and these extras allow me to connect them all together with ease and also allow my imagination run wild! I love the fact that they are very easy to assemble and to take apart if needed for cleaning purposes. My favorite of all of the pieces included is the outhouse, because even if your pet doesn't use it for its intended purpose, it provides another area to either play in or burrow. There are also a variety of colors that will hold true to the many environments on the market today. These tubes are usually compatible with about anything which is another excellent feature I really like! If you are looking to expand your pet's home, definitely consider these as they are an excellent choice!
