Without sounding like a Makita sales-rep, I enthusiastically recommend the HM1100C to any professional seeking a light to medium duty demo hammer for daily use. PROS: 1.) POWERFUL! 2.) Lighter than similarly designed tools. 3.) Less vibration than similar tools. 4.) Separate speed control "thumbnail" NOT like competitor's "variable trigger" switch. 5.) Padded support handle is adjustable to suit any user. Cons: 1.)................................(play "cricket's" sound effect) 2.) NONE. Although I use my large pneumatic jack hammers for breaking up the bigger and thicker slabs, this "little bad-boy" is always my first choice for everything else! This thing is a real workhorse and I have yet to find a material that this tool couldn't devour! Whether you're chipping up old tile and thinset or breaking up concrete to replace cast flanges, it literally 'eats' anything you can feed it! This is the third one I'm buying. Two demanding years have proven these as continually dependable and demonstrate a worthy addition as my business grows.
