Lisle (LIS42920) Universal Fan Clutch Wrench Set

Removes Fan Clutch on Most ModelsThis 2-piece set removes and installs fan clutches. The set includs a universal holding wrench and a universal turning wrench. The holding wrench is adjustable to fit the bolts that attach the pulley to the water pump. The turning wrench has the 5 common fan clutch nut sizes built into one tool: 7/8" (22mm), 1 7/16" (36mm), 1 9/16" (39mm), 1 7/8" (47mm) and 2" (50mm). Both wrenches are long to provide extra leverage for stubborn fan clutch nuts. Made of heat treated alloy steel to provide strength.

I used this to replace a waterpump on a Chevy Trailblazer 4.2 I6. This tool seperated the waterpump from the fanclutch in short order. The bolt holder slipped off at first, but I remedied that by loosening the bolts it was holding, and then tightening them on top of the bolt holder wrench. The actual wrench that fits the fan clutch is long, but leverage is needed when yours is as tight as mine was......anyone doing waterpump/fan clutch maintenance on the above vehicle would find this a good replacment for GM tool J-46406
