I bought this for my wife on our anaversery and so far she likes it. She hasn't used all of the features yet but she liked what she has used so far. It is easy to clean up and looks good in our kitchen

I bought a kitchen aid, because I was looking for quality and durability. I loved it...at first...After 1 year and 2 months, my food processor would no longer turn on. My husband called Kitchen Aid...Too bad for me, since the guarantee is only for one year. Manufacturers cause so much waste because of the current greed to make a product that doesn't last. We have landfills full of trash appliances because of the wasteful practices of maufacturers, and is consumers are made to feel it is their fault for using paper grocery bags. Why aren't manufacturers any longer holding to a standard of quality? Because they want more and more of your $$$$? At least paper bags are a renewable resource and go back into the ground. In our grandparents generation an appliance lasted their lifetime, and only the cord needed to be replaced after 50 plus years of marriage...You can still find working toasters of that era at a "reuse" store. I've been married 33 years...My first food processor had a simple turn on switch and was a combination appliance: lasted about 12 years, my next one which I got used had a much more complicated switch: lasted me about 4 years...This one I bought new from Amazon and paid about $250.00 (way more expensive than any other I'd ever bought)had the most complicated off on switch . The engine is perfectly good. The convoluted cheap plastic switch (in which you can no longer put food in while it is running as in previous versions) wore with use to the point it lasted one year and 2 months and now can't turn on. Companies we used to trust have become so greedy, that they no longer make good products. I am very disappointed. What a waste. I no longer have confidence I once had in the Kitchen Aid brand.

I received this food processor a few weeks ago and am so pleased! The old one does not allow me to perform the whole recipe in one time. As this model has several bowls, you can use them without clean each time you process something for the recipe. The model is also more silence than the old one. I didn't like the citrus juicer, I could not use it very well.
