I can't believe one reviewer said this fan is "quiet." Compared to what? A jet engine? This fan moves a lot of air, but it is LOUD.

Posted: Jul 2 2008
This could be ok for an office, or maybe a busy kitchen, but I wanted something to circulate the bedroom air at night. Although this did the job, the noise couldn't be ignored. After trying an array of other small fans as well, I ended up putting in a ceiling fan, and am glad I did. On low, the ceiling fan is absolutely inaudible.

This fan is so noisy that it didn't even last five minutes in our home. We got rid of it. We own an older metal frame LAKEWOOD fan (similar in size to this Blizzard) that operates very quietly. However, I understand that Lakewood has moved their manufacturing to China and their quality is in the toilet. Save your money and buy something besides the Blizzard unless you want a NOISY fan.

I have been looking for a replacement toaster oven for almost a year. I was drawn the cuisinart because of their great name in cookware electronics. This is stylish, has all the features I wanted, is not too large as to take up too much counter space It toasts and broils great and quick. I have not used the oven yet (it has been in the 3 digit temps here) and salads have been the menu, but I am sure it will work as well.

I have another burned finger this morning from the Cuisinart. Something about the design of the door handle and the metal around the edge of the glass door results in nasty burns. Unfortunately, no matter how careful we are, this occurs. It's a beautiful toaster oven with lots of functionality, but this safety issue is more than we can bear. I am sending it back. Perhaps they should field test these things before they release them to consumers. Just a thought.

Everyone who has written a positive reviewed has it right. I find only 2 draw backs: 1. The crumb tray removal to the rear, but this is offset by the controls up front and center where they are needed. 2. The lack of auto shut off, this is more troublesome but forewarned if forearmed. I owned a KRUPS oven for 4 years and find this one superior all the way around. I would buy it again and recommend it to everyone who needs an all around oven in a small kitchen. BTW: For toasted whole grain bread: 4 slices at setting 6 for lightly toasted and setting 7 if you want extra crunch.

I have had this cooker for several years now and it's a great addition to my kitchen especially in the summer with all the deviled eggs I end up preparing. Set it and forget it.... another reviewer said that it does not shut off automatically - this is true, however there is a really LOUD buzzer that goes off when the eggs are done... pretty hard not to hear it.

Posted: Jul 29 2008
This Krups Egg Express Cooker is working perfect. Great Quality Product and delivers always perfectly cooked eggs.

Works pretty well. Much easier than using the boiling water, faster too. Only complaint is the lack of "Cook" and "Keep Hot" labels, instead they have two icons, which I guess we are suppose to memorize. I use it once in a while and always get confused which side to set it to. Why not put labels with the icons? I had to put the labels using a permanent marker to prevent from having to refer to instructions before each use. Purchased in Jan 2005, still working well.

I was very pleased with this item. It did everything it was constructed to do as advertised. It only had one flaw. When left on a hot stove burner for an extended of time with no water in it, it tended to melt.

This is the 3rd tea kettle I have purchased in a year. I left the whistle off the other kettles and would forget they were on. I bought this one because the whistle is always on and is loud. I can hear it from anywhere in the house. I am happy with this kettle and would buy it again.

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and this little tea kettle is perfect for me! The size, weight, and ease of pouring make this tea kettle my favorite friend when it is time for tea. :)

We used this juicer for 2 months. After one month the juicer began to vibrate and make weird noices that scared our kids and cat. Finally the blade is dead and we are ready to get rid of this machine. Machine looks very nice and I give it 2 stars for the look.

( 2 of 2 found this review helpful ) Posted: Aug 2 2005
This is the second identical juicer I have purchased. The first was sent in for warranty work and was returned to me without resolution of the problem. They are making their second attempt to fix it (now out of warranty due to my procrastination). The reports I have read say it is the best, but I am not so sure.

I have owned this juicer for over a year now and have had to change the blade twice. It does a good job most of the times, but when you start mixing soft and hard fruits and vegetables simultaneously and in a certain order, the unit will start vibrating to the point where the blade will make contact with the metal column where vegetables/fruits are introduced. The result: the maching will grind the blade and damage the performance of it. Try the following combination: apple, carrots, and grapes. Say bye bye to your blade.... (a $40 value).

I'm returning this fan ASAP! It creates very little air flow/breeze & it isn't powerful at all. You'd be better off with a $10 box fan. I would NOT recommend this fan.

Posted: Jun 6 2008
I have Central Air in my house that is not "zoned" and even the best systems are not energy efficient to run regularly. I only turn it on during the hottest days. So, I bought this fan to use in my bedroom at night. I am one of those folks who is always HOT. I was very surprised at how well this little unit cooled my room. It works especially well if you have two or more windows in the room you use it in. Setting both blades to "exhaust" while the other window is open causes all the cool night air to be sucked right in.. It also works well with one blade set to "intake" and the other to "exhaust." Lastly, as a smoker I can say that it removes most of the smoke and stale odors in the room when used regularly. This unit is thin so the screen can remain down during operation. Easy to install and operate.

I purchased this fan because I enjoy having my window open and bringing fresh air in from outside in the evening. It's a nice fan. I only have 2 issues with it: 1st--It doesn't pull the air in very strongly. 2nd--Turning it on & off can be annoying. You have to go thur the complete cycle of high then all the temperatures then the low speed and then all the temperatures. Only after going thru all that will it shut off. A simple on/off button would have been nicer.

I got this for my husband for Christmas and we made a huge breakfast complete with french toast and bacon from this griddle. It lays nicely on the stove and cooks great. Our only complaints were that it didn't come with a shred of directions on how to season it or clean it or anything, and it was a bit pricey!

( 6 of 6 found this review helpful ) Posted: Aug 13 2006
This is a very good grill. It heats and holds heat very well, and does a pretty good job of heating evenly, although there are "hot spots" on the grill in between the 2 burners. A tip from my wife for cleaning is to put a damp paper towel over the grill when you finish cooking, and after it has cooled a little and letting it set. It makes clean-up a lot easier.

I have used the grill side several times since purchasing it and am VERY pleased. It is a little pricey but it also has a coating that a Lodge or other cast iron grill/griddles don't have.I also believe the grill marks are superior to other grills. Tough to fit into the budget but I think it was worth it! First of all, for those people that are getting rust spots after washing, you must dry your griddle by reheating it until any excess water evaporates. I then rub a light coat of oil into the pan when it's still slightly warm. If you have the rust spots just wash the grill with a brush and follow the drying and oiling process I explained above. You should quickly build a nice patina to your grill. It should only take a few times of doing this because of the enamel type coating. BEFORE using this grill I washed it in VERY hot tap water with a brush to remove any coating that was put on at the time of manufacturing. This should also help with sticking food. I have also coated the pan heavily with oil the first few uses. I've grilled delicate fish and shrimp with no sticking. After it becomes somewhat coated you can build on this by just wiping it with a damp cloth and drying on the burner. At this point any sticking should be minimal. Don't use anything abrasive. Good luck and I hope this helps.

The features of the fan are nice on paper and it was easy to setup. I don't find it very powerful and the area it covers seems smaller than other fans I've owned. I would try a different product next time.

Thank you for the product. It was fast and on time. The fan works great. I use it every night. Thank You Again...Bruce.

I bought a Windchaser Wall/Ceiling fan in February of 2006, and installed it in June of that year. It ran OK (if somewhat underpowered) until about October of 2007, then quit. The manufacturer won't do anything about it - I believe that a ninety-nine dollar fan should last longer than this one did, or have a robust enough warranty to cover it when it doesn't. Don't waste your money - it's a piece of junk.

I am so happy I bought this, it has worked wonderfully! I've had it for a few months, used it on all sorts of thing, no problems. The best little thing about this blender is the buttons on the front don't have any open space for food to get in them. I love that! It's so easy to clean, and I hate trying to gouge dried food out of little corners.

Posted: May 14 2007
This is a great product, a little loud but what isn't these days. I'd make more noise crushing ice than this machine does,it's fast its great for making baby food and shakes. I thought 3 cups would be to small but it's the perfect size unless you want too feed an army. Great product, my wife and i give it two thumbs up.....

once again, i was sceptical about this purchase, however, what a pleasant surprise this was. i could not be more pleased. have not used it much, but put it to the test and it passed with flying colors. great deal, great price, great service thank you
