Wonderful fan for the price. It doesn't seem abnormally loud compared to other fans, but it sure blows plenty of air. We hardly ever need to use the high speed due to the amount it blows out effortlessly at the lower speeds.

I can't believe one reviewer said this fan is "quiet." Compared to what? A jet engine? This fan moves a lot of air, but it is LOUD.

Posted: Jul 2 2008
This could be ok for an office, or maybe a busy kitchen, but I wanted something to circulate the bedroom air at night. Although this did the job, the noise couldn't be ignored. After trying an array of other small fans as well, I ended up putting in a ceiling fan, and am glad I did. On low, the ceiling fan is absolutely inaudible.

I work in a building with 15 of these, and not one will reset itself properly, even if brought outdoors. They just don't communicate with the atomic clock. Some reset to random times. One is still spinning after 2 days. All had to be manually reset after DST.

this is a great clock. it is a very nice looking clock and easy to read. it was cool how it set itself when we first got it. the true test will be when the time changes in spring though.

The front of this clock is nice and looks good for the price paid. However, whoever decided to attach the clock to the packaging it comes in with screws was really dumb. The back is a very thin and brittle plastic. Be careful when removing the packaging, I barely pulled on the clock while removing mine and the back shattered. Thankfully it still hangs and no one can see the back but it made me feel the product was very very cheap on the inside. Also the La Crosse technology didn't work (I live in a metro area so I don't think reception was the issue). As a regular clock it works fine and is easy to read.

We bought this unit when we redid our kitchen in 2002. After a few years, the metal piece inside on the right side seemed to wear away and the oven caught fire. We replaced the unit with an identical unit bought on Amazon (no criticism of them). After about two years, the new unit had the exact same problem: the unit seemed to wear away in the same spot and caught fire. In both cases, there are smoke marks in the same spot, on the inside right near a metal panel. I am of the opinion that this unit is not safe and seems to have a design or manufacturing defect. Also, the second unit we bought was noisier and seemed to have some sort of mechanical problem, based on the noise it made when in use. If i can find another unit to fit the built in space and trim kit, i will buy that over the Sharp unit. I will also be trying to contact Sharp to see if they have any response to this problem. I will report in if i do hear anything from them.

Beautiful microwave oven however the door was dented during shipping. Amazon was superior in the returns department. Will reorder same microwave. UPDATE: Received a second microwave. It was more damaged than the first one! Plus the door was uneven and when turned on makes a strange sound. I'm returning this one as well. Amazon gets an A+ for their help with returns, the microwave gets an F. I would strongly recommend you stay away from this product.

This microwave oven is an almost exact replacement for my old oven that I purchased seven years ago. The open/close button failed on my old oven and I needed an exact replacement to fit into the exact opening space above my double ovens. This microwave oven is tops! Fast and easy to use. Unfortunately I fixed the open/close button rather easily so now I have two very good microwave ovens.

So far so good as I love this oven. It does my toast and warms it up if I am not ready. Cooks a roast and bakes a pie which is great this summer as the kitchen doesn't get as warm if I used the regular oven. Yes, it definitely makes enough toast for company. No waiting! I am still experimenting and hoping for more wonderful experiences

So, after having a cheap Black and Decker toaster oven for years, we decided to be more grown up and get a new, fantastically expensive toaster oven. This was it. Problem is, no matter where we place the rack, we can't seem to toast the bread evenly. If the rack is at the bottom, it produces burnt toast on one side, and no toast on the top. In Position "B," it toasts the top and not the bottom. We found, however, that this is great for cooking frozen foods (like fish sticks), but sucks as a toaster. We had to go out and buy one of the old school toasters by Oster to suit our bread toasting needs. What a shame. It looks so pretty and grown up on our countertop. If you like making complex meals in a toaster oven, this might be a great buy for you. If you secretly want a nice product that you'll just use for its toasting capabilites, save your money and get a $20 toaster or toaster oven. This one won't work for you.

I bought this unit in November 2005. I thought I would use the oven features often, but it just hasn't worked out that way. I mainly use this for toast on the weekends. I haven't been unhappy with it, but for just toast I could have spent a lot less than 200 dollars. Last weekend, my husband made toast it it, and when he opened the glass door, it shattered into a million pieces. It sounded like an explosion!! On the plus side, cuisinart customer service seems reasonable. They are sending me a new unit, but I have to pay shipping and handling to send the broken one back. Also, the warranty is only three years from date of manufacture, unless you can prove the exact date you bought it. Thank God that Amazon saves your orders so I did have proof of when I bought it. Who saves receipts for three years???? I'm kinda wondering why I would want another of the same unit that exploded on me in less than three years of light use, though.

I'm returning this fan ASAP! It creates very little air flow/breeze & it isn't powerful at all. You'd be better off with a $10 box fan. I would NOT recommend this fan.

I have Central Air in my house that is not "zoned" and even the best systems are not energy efficient to run regularly. I only turn it on during the hottest days. So, I bought this fan to use in my bedroom at night. I am one of those folks who is always HOT. I was very surprised at how well this little unit cooled my room. It works especially well if you have two or more windows in the room you use it in. Setting both blades to "exhaust" while the other window is open causes all the cool night air to be sucked right in.. It also works well with one blade set to "intake" and the other to "exhaust." Lastly, as a smoker I can say that it removes most of the smoke and stale odors in the room when used regularly. This unit is thin so the screen can remain down during operation. Easy to install and operate.

I purchased this fan because I enjoy having my window open and bringing fresh air in from outside in the evening. It's a nice fan. I only have 2 issues with it: 1st--It doesn't pull the air in very strongly. 2nd--Turning it on & off can be annoying. You have to go thur the complete cycle of high then all the temperatures then the low speed and then all the temperatures. Only after going thru all that will it shut off. A simple on/off button would have been nicer.

This machine is one of the best thing I have ever used! It took less than 5 minutes to make PERFECTLY done hard boiled eggs. I would recommend this to anyone that wants an easy and fool-proof way to make eggs (poached, soft-hard boiled, eggs for egg salad or deviled eggs)

Posted: Aug 22 2008
I have had this egg cooker for 2 years and I love it! I have been cooking for 30+ years and never thought I needed something to hard boil eggs, but this product is great! I have to admit that I only make hard boiled eggs with it; I've never done soft boiled or poached. I use them in salads and for deviled eggs. I use it almost weekly to cook 7 eggs at a time. I never poke the little hole in the bottom of the eggs anymore either. Once in a while one will crack during cooking, but I was going to crack them anyway:-) I put the hot eggs (in their rack) directly into the fridge until they cool down. They are perfect every time! I also marked the 7 egg line on the measuring beaker with white-out so it was easier to read. I run the plastic egg tray in my dishwasher on the top rack and it always comes out looking like new. I love this little egg cooker!

I love this egg cooker! Had one a while back but it broke fairly quickly (the timer alarm quit working). So I bought a Cuisinart egg cooker and hated it. It either overcooked or undercooked the eggs. So, I'm taking a chance on this one again, because it does such a good job on eggs. My poached eggs are perfectly poached, and my hard-boiled eggs are perfectly hard-boiled. For the money, it's a great deal!

This ain't your mother's Revere Ware! It's NOT 18-10 Stainless, it's thinner metal, and it's made in CHINA - not the USA as the new corporate conglomerate wants you to think. (the original "Revere Ware" company ceased US production years ago and only the "brand name" is now owned by World Kitchen, LLC. 2006) Besides being 'burned' by this faux-patriotism, you will likely be actually burned by the incredibly bad design of the dinky phenolic-resin lid actuator as the tender back of your fingers contact the boiling-hot steel top! (maybe only tiny chinese underage olympic hands fit properly...?) The single fill/pour hole is only ~1.25" diameter and the lid will only open ~45 deg. relative to horizontal - so good luck filling this from either a filtered fridge dispenser or poured from another container. Also, the spring-loaded lid will not remain in an open position - which prevents the pot from thoroughly drying inside. Amazon has other, better choices - browse on! (we purchased this from Amazon and are returning it. [3.5 qt model #3535017])

I was very pleased with this item. It did everything it was constructed to do as advertised. It only had one flaw. When left on a hot stove burner for an extended of time with no water in it, it tended to melt.

This is the 3rd tea kettle I have purchased in a year. I left the whistle off the other kettles and would forget they were on. I bought this one because the whistle is always on and is loud. I can hear it from anywhere in the house. I am happy with this kettle and would buy it again.

I absolutely love being able to peek at the ceiling during the night to see what time it is. When I stay at a hotel now I am constantly scanning the ceiling trying to see what time it is. I'd better start taking it with me when I'm out of town! The laser read-out is plenty bright during the night, but gets hard to read once the sun starts to come up. Two alarms is very nice, and it's atomic so it's always correct. Everyone should own a projection alarm clock!

I had the Oregon Scientific RM313PNA Self-Setting Projection Clock. I had it for 10 years and it worked perfectly. It broke, and frys only carries THIS clock now. So I bought it. Mistake. I should have just bought the Oregon Scientific one again through Amazon. The La Crosse 1) does not come with directions, and is nearly useless without them. 2) can not tell time. I left it plugged in for 2 days an it never told the correct time. I set the clock manually, and after only 2 hours it was 15 minutes off. After 6 hours it was about an hour off. This thing sucks. The coolest part is that you can aim the projector, but what use is that, if it projects the wrong time?

I purchased a Dirt Devil Breeze Canister vacuum based entirely on what other pet owners and professional cleaners had to say about it. I have had it for 3 weeks and am wildly enthusiastic about it's light weight, sucking power. I have 8 cats, three of whom are Himalayan long haired lovelies. This little machine is very easy to use, has a long hose, follows well, and is easy to dump out when full. It gets into corners, underneath furniture,is great on blinds, shucks I even used it to clean cobwebs and dust off of my covered patio. So far it has exceeded my expectations.

I love this vacuum! I have hardwood and vinyl in all but 2 rooms of my house and HATE sweeping! I don't know why I hadn't thought of this sooner. This vacuum cleaner is perfect for my floors. It's also great for cleaning dust on the blinds and ceiling fans. I don't use it on carpet. I would recommend it for anyone who has hard surface floors. It saves so much time and is so much better than sweeping. It exceeded my expectations!

Posted: Aug 24 2008
We've had this vacuum for a couple of weeks now, and we love it. Small, easy to handle (especially with the shoulder strap which allows you to carry it around) and lots of sucking power. Can't beat it for the price.

The features of the fan are nice on paper and it was easy to setup. I don't find it very powerful and the area it covers seems smaller than other fans I've owned. I would try a different product next time.

I bought a Windchaser Wall/Ceiling fan in February of 2006, and installed it in June of that year. It ran OK (if somewhat underpowered) until about October of 2007, then quit. The manufacturer won't do anything about it - I believe that a ninety-nine dollar fan should last longer than this one did, or have a robust enough warranty to cover it when it doesn't. Don't waste your money - it's a piece of junk.
