These are fantastic bowls and lids. Just the right size. Microwave in them and they don't melt. They don't leak. Clean and neat. I would recommend these to anyone!! And thanks to Amazon I got a fantastic price on them. Highly recommended.

Pyrex is nice...you can put them in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, etc. I bought two sets of these because 14 pieces counts the lids, so you end up with only 7 dishes. I gave four stars because they chip easily...before I used a single dish, one chipped on me as I was putting it away. I am waiting to see if I have any other chipping problems. Overall, these things are great. I highly recommend using these over plastic food containers!

I bought this set after getting rid of my old plastic stuff. There are concerns about chemicals in plastics so I thought, why chance it? So I bought these containers and I have to say I like them even better than the plastic. They heat well in the microwave and are just the right size for storage and meal portioning. The lids are included and are water tight from what I've seen. I think it is definitely worth the money to buy something that will last and might even be more safe for you.

i have used a delonghi portable a/c for about 15 years (that's how long it lasted, so a very good investment). my model had a bucket to fill with water, which i was looking for again as it significantly increases the cooling. happy to find the pac600t. the first one i ordered, unfortunately, was damaged/defective: when i added water, it flooded my bedroom floor (amazon was excellent with the return). undeterred, i ordered another one, no problems, and am now very comfortable in this heat. it cools beautifully, even without the water. it's a bit clunky, but wheels around easily. sort of looks like a blue r2d2. it is much sturdier (made in italy) than newer models/other brands, which tend to be made in china. highly recommend.

After comparing multiple products from several different sellers, this seemed like the ideal choice. When the item arrived (via UPS), the box was pretty beaten up. When unpacked, it seemed fine and worked on the regular setting. However when I added the gallons of water it requires for high-effificiency cooling, the water leaked all over my floor within a few minutes. After closer examination, I found a cracked part in the base. Amazon promptly sent a replacement (via FedEx). The box was in much better shape this time, but I immediately examined the interior of the unit. Again, the exact same piece of plastic had broken leaving a jagged edge. Apparently, this is a weak spot that snaps somewhere in transit. The saving grace of this transaction was that Amazon responded quickly and efficiently to resolve my problems.

My experience with this product is totally unsatisfactory since purchase in early summer. Out of the box it was defective, as it leaked water. Following instructions I returned it to an authorized service rep. rather than return it to Amazon.com as I was informed that it was an easy fix. Weeks later and after many calls, I was informed that DeLonghi changed its parts agent, and they could not find the parts! Of course 30 days had past so Amazon would not accept a return. The service agent instructed me to return it to the manufacturer. I did ($84). A month later, no response nor satisfaction from the manufacturer regarding repair, replacement, and no satisfactin from Amazon for refund. Conclusion: stay away from Delonghi products until they have their act together.

This is our 3rd version of this same unit (1st one sold w. house...second burned out after 11 years of continuous use! This newest of this Sharp line is very good looking, beautiful Stainless throughout & larger (inside) then previous units...it has really simplified convection & mix cooking with help of it's internal computer. This is great for all of your cooking, especially cooking for 2, we never use the regular oven except for a large turkey (this unit will hold a 10# bird.) There was a problem with one of the large bolts that holds it on the back plate..did not line up correctly...that was a pain. Also shipping by UPS or FED EX ends up with a mutilated box & I'm sure damaged units (we lucked out no damage to unit- the unit is quite heavy 84# so I'm sure the carrier just "heaves" it - so if your box is badly damaged don't even open it - send it back for a new one) they should really be shipped using another source.

Over the years I have used a variety of cookware--aluminum bottomed stainless Revere Ware, Magnalite Professional, Calphalon, Calphalon Professional NonStick. When I finally had to throw out the last of my tattered collection, I started to look for some stainless cookware that would stand the test of time and offer performance to boot. I decided to splurge on this All-Clad Copper Core. One of the pieces I recieved was this 1 1/2 Quart saucepan. What a workhorse this one is! Rice to soup to lentils to barely to country gravy, it gets used! The most used of all my Copper Core is this little pot! Delighted to report that I am THRILLED with this expensive splurge! All-Clad is NOT about expensive hype and status, those these pans are beautifully made, instead they do everything cookware should, and have literally changed the way I cook. Having attended CIA and worked as a professional chef for a few years, I know the golden rule for food not sticking: preheat pan, add oil, let oil heat for 5-10 seconds, then add food. Using these guidelines with the Copper Core, nothing sticks! And I mean for some things, like omelets or fried eggs in the 10" frypan, the performance is as good as my brand new Calphalon NonStick was; when you can just slide omelets and fried eggs out of the pan without ANY sticking at all, why would you ever need Nonstick or Teflon based products?! However, these pans are also superbly capable of developing a fond on the pan bottom for deglazing and subsequent sauces; in fact I have had them give every last bit of the fond up when deglazed, almost cleaning the pan for me! That's the best thing about them--they do everything right. I am not sure if it's All-Clad propriety stainless "recipe" or what, but these pans are so amazing to be able to function on all levels from eggs sliding out with ZILCH sticking to chicken [...] sticking just enough to develop rich fond for complete deglazing, to the light and glazy fond from sauteed onions and garlic for developing a richer risotto when deglazed with wine. Mind you, this is partly about knowing some basic cooking principles, and these pans might not act so obligingly in non experienced hands, because when I read about people commenting on how everything sticks in their All-Clad stainless interior, I know it isn't All-Clad's fault, believe me! I have found the copper core very responsive and quick to adjust to temperature. Perhaps not as great as true copper pot and pans, but noticeably better than aluminum cores (Stainless line) or anodized aluminum (Magnalite Pro/Calphalon). These pans heat up and boil water faster than anything I have ever used, aside from true copper cookware, and when turning the heat down, or removing from burner, they also cool incredibly quickly. It's nice to have semi-copper performance with the ease of stainless steel clean-up. And this cookware does clean-up quickly and easily, particularly when using Barkeepers Friend. I use plastic and wooden utensils (no metal) and they still look almost brand new after several months. The copper band however does tarnish and discolor just as much and just as fast as a true copper pot or pan, so if you are fanatic, you will need to polish the tarnish away fairly often (at least every other week). However this is barely noticeable for us real world users, and Barkeepers friend does a good job of semi-polishing the copper (but it won't gleam). I know, I know, they are SO expensive. But honestly, if you know how to cook or want to learn with responsive cookware, I honestly feel this is a great investment. I am wholeheartedly thrilled that I made it and cannot recommend highly enough.

What are you talking about? The picture is the same on the amazon site, the 7pc cookware set match the description. I've been using All-clad for over 10 yrs and it's the best cookware you can buy.

I have been using this set since September'05 and I love it. It has been a great addition to my extensive Le Creuset collection. I like the 8-qt pot from this set. It is sizable and light! I love the look of my enormously large Le Creuset pots but who can move them every day? However, the smaller Le Creuset pots are still my favorite. I do not like (=hate) the Le Creuset skillets, except for the real nonstick skillets. The regular Le Creuset skillets (black coating on the inside) are useless. But I have been happily using the All-Clad skillets. In addition to the skillets from this set, I have a 12-inch All-Clad skillet. The quality of the USA-made All-Clad is great. But who came up with this combination of pots and skillets?! There are two lids of the same size in the set. I prefer the interchangeable lids. I think that the 8-qt pot should be taller and smaller in diameter, so that its lid would fit the 10-inch skillet. Otherwise, all items in this set are practical. For cleaning, especially after high-heat frying, just soak the skillets in warm water for 5-10 min, then scrub briefly with a plastic scrub brush to loosen any large pieces of food and follow with the Bar Keepers Friend cleanser & polisher (powder, the liquid cleanser is useless). "The Friend" won't scratch the surface and the pots and skillets would look like new again except for the copper strip. Do not even bother cleaning the copper strip. It looks fine "weathered". And do not forget to towel dry to avoid the water spots!

First let me explain why I purchased the Sharp "OTC". We recently updated our kitchen and decided on a standard hood vent for above our stove. When it came time to replace our Microwave that had been sitting on the counter, we wanted one that was a "space saver", i.e. Over-the-counter. There were very few to choose from! So we decided to go with the sharp. I have not been disappointed at all! I was originally concerned about the installation. It was a breeze. The sharp is a nice size microwave as well, not a compact. As for the 5 stars I've given it, I have very little complaints. Pros: Big & powerful. Fairly easy to install. Great price (as compaired to Over the Stove types). This model has many great features as well. Sensor reheating, presets for popcorn, frozen foods,..etc. Cons: Sensor reheat over heats food just slightly. Some reheating features are slightly complicated to use, so I don't bother. (lots of button combinations that I can't seem to remember yet) I hope this was helpful.

I bought this produce recently and so far so good. In particular it looks great in the kitchen because it is one of the few available "over the counter" microwaves which means that it looks like a built in without the price. I'm very happy and I thought the service through Amazon was great.

I bought the Sharp R-1214 because I wanted a more powerful range/fan unit over my cooktop and needed to replace the old micro/hood unit. I did not want to sacrafice counterspace so I purchased this Sharp R-1214. Installation was easy with the provided templates and it is very clean looking installed. The microwave is very powerful, and has more than adequate room inside. I like the sensor settings, task lights, and stainless finish. I would buy it again.

I have never owned a convection oven before. I love it! Living in the south and only cooking for 2 people, why heat up the whole kitchen!? It's so easy to use. I bake everything in it now. I also use most of my Pampered Chef stones in it for even easier clean up!

We ordered the Sharp convection microwave on May 6th. We received a damaged article and we were told by the Company " Unbeatable Sale" that "Once it is on its way back we will resend another one". They did NOT. After the damaged one was received and inspected by them , they send another one.We received the second one on June 2nd.... almost a month after our 1st order.Dana Gilardi , the Customer Service Representative, sent e-mails to call them . We did , left messages with our phone # and the calls were never returned. We are happy with the microwave but very dissappointed with the Company "Unbeatable Sale" .

My wife an I duked it out between Calphalon Commercial Nonstick (now called "Contemporary") which she preferred for its lighter weight and All-Clad which I prefer for its tougher build. We have a bunch of each. The All-Clad stuff is better hands down. It heats quicker and more evenly. It seems to cook requiring lower stove temperatures. The anodized exterior is smoother and of higher quality. The clad stainless interior is exquisite and easy to clean. This particular set is perfect - the most required pieces. They constitute a complete kitchen set, lacking only, perhaps, a couple of larger pans (12" fry and 5 Qt. Saute are really nice to have). The choice of stainless interior versus nonstick is personal - but I recommend the stainless interior. First of all, the stainless interior is virtually indestructible and will last a lifetime. All-Clad's nonstick interior is the best in the business, but it does wear out. I've had several LTD nonstick pieces for 9 years now. The ones that get a lot of wear are starting to wear out. Nothing is more pathetic than a battleship built All-Clad pan with a frayed nonstick interior. It's like putting fur in a truck bed. Nonstick might be easier to clean up - but the difference is trivial. Maybe you have the intention of cooking with less oil, but the difference between nonstick and LTD's excellent mirror-like stainless interior is also trivial. I find the arguments for nonstick hard to defend. That being said - the fry pan is where you'd most want non-stick and that's where you find it here. Just right. As for the review that says anodized aluminum exteriors are hard to maintain, she should read the product literature. You clean anodized aluminum with a plastic scrubby (like the 3M green ones) with bleach cleanser (like Ajax or Comet). Just make a paste with the cleanser and power away stains in moments. Anodized aluminum - like all aluminum cannot be dish washed. The phosphates and brightening agents in dishwasher soap with create a chalky powdery rot in the anodized surface. If you are determined to dishwash your cookware you must forget about aluminum and stick to stainless steel. All-Clad makes a great like of stainless cookware - but nothing is prettier than LTD's awesome black.

I've had these pans for a number of years now. I usually cook several times a day almost everyday & although these pans cook beautifully and the interior looks beautiful, the anodized exterior looks terrible now. I wouldn't mind so much but I have them hanging on decorative pot rack. For that reason I want to replace them with the less expensive version in stainless steel but the financial loss is killing me. I don't have room in my small kitchen to put them away. We've had a stainless steel All-Clad sauce pan for a few years which still looks great and isn't embarrassing hanging from our rack. If you don't mind so much what your pots look like then these would probably be a great choice. If anyone knows any great secrets to keeping these looking great, please post them. I've contacted All-Clad several times and do exactly as they say without achieving any desired results.

The bodies are made of 1/8" thick aluminum with a full stainless steel lining on the inside. The thick aluminum bodies make them heat evenly and the stainless interior make them non-reactive with food. My only gripes are that the rim of the pots have exposed non-anodized aluminum which become discolored with use. And the anodized aluminum exteriors become discolored if washed in a dishwasher. These are just cosmetic issues that don't affect the function, but I had higher expectations given the relatively high price of this set. I also considered the All-clad cookware that has stainless steel cladding on both the interior and exterior. In retrospect, perhaps those would have been a better choice assuming the thermal properties don't suffer too much from the exterior stainless steel coating.

I bought this exact set six years ago from Amazon as a birthday present to myself (back when Amazon did birthday discounts) just starting out on my own after college. I had a limited income but knew that this was an investment so I saved and saved and waited for a good deal. I highly recommend it. I cook 80% vegetarian, 20% meat. I do have two Le Creuset French ovens and Lodge cast iron but the All-Clad are my favorite. I have bought and since thrown out several Calphalon nonstick pieces which were great while they lasted but did not last long. This is not peculiar to Calphalon; my roommate bought the 12" All-Clad nonstick frypan and had awful luck with it -- stay away from nonstick in general, I'd say. And, yes, we followed all the usual nonstick rules. I have only cooked on cheap apartment-grade gas and electric cooktops, and I think the quality cookware has made a real difference in my ability and willingness to cook, which over six years has saved me a lot of money. So I don't think All-Clad is only for people with too much disposable income on their hands. I considered it an investment in my health and finances and have never regretted it. I kept the original boxes and have moved this set half a dozen times through four states. It's great cookware to learn on because you really can't screw up too badly. Prior to buying the All-Clad I had a few Cuisinart pieces that I picked up at discount stores. These were great also, but they are not clad up the sides. Side by side, there's no comparison, but Cuisinart is a great starter brand. Mine have been gifted to others. The 6 qt stockpot is the biggest pot in my kitchen right now. I use it for making chicken stock, beans, soups, and pasta. It's the only pot I have that's big enough for steaming corn on the cob. The 3 qt casserole is my least favorite because I would prefer a 4 qt saucepan in its place. Even when the 3 qt casserole is full of liquid, if it had a long handle, I could lift it with one hand, but because of the short handles, you have to use 2 hands every time. The benefit is that it takes up less space in your cupboard and on your cooktop. Great for cooking pasta for one without messing up a big pot, but if it had one long handle, I could drain the pasta into a colander with less fuss. I also cook soups in this, even though I have a 3.5 qt Le Creuset. Sometimes you just want the lighter piece, and the performance is great. So even though it is my least favorite, it is among my most used. The 3 qt saute pan I use for larger stir-frys. I used to think that I had to have the 12" fry pan, but I really don't. The lid for this pan is exactly the same as for the 6 qt stockpot (you get two of the same lid). The 10" fry pan is great for single servings of fried rice or pasta with vegetables. I prefer this to nonstick and have learned to control the heat to avoid sticking (even things like rice, egg, and tofu). Even when things do stick, the cleanup is super easy. Between these and my cast iron skillets, I do not find it necessary to have a single nonstick piece in my kitchen. The 2 qt saucepan is the darling baby of the group. I use it daily for oatmeal, cocoa, reheating soups, small pasta sauces. I had no idea how spoiled I was until I made oatmeal at a friend's house using a thin-walled regular pot. The cleanup was pretty awful even though I didn't burn anything; I couldn't believe that soaking with hot water and soap for hours wasn't enough to loosen that oatmeal. With my All-Clad I have never had to soak longer than a few minutes or scrub hard, no matter what. Bar Keeper's Friend and soap is all you need for even the most stubborn problems. I left oil heating on t
