rated as best inexpensive blender by cook's illustrated, they are correct. Also, quietest blender I've used, very nice for an apartment

This is a very simple product but what it does it does well. I like the "pulse mode" and the serrated blades to a better job of getting to the food than the previous blenders I have owned.
