The Linx Lithium-Ion battery system uses fade free technology which ensures that Hoover Linx Cordless System batteries sustain power until the battery is completely drained, as opposed to traditional Ni-CD batteries that most other manufacturers use that will slowly loose power and suction as the battery looses its charge. The machine also has a battery fuel guage, conveniently alerting you to the remaining battery life. The Linx Stick Vac has a motorized power brush attached, which deep cleans even the thickest plush carpeting. Easily transistion from carpets to bare floor with a flip of the rug/floor switch on the handle of the machine.
