I use these in a Vicks warm mist humidifier. I've purchased smaller packages (6-packs) for almost the same money but this is the best deal I've found. Well worth it.

I don't know if I must use these pads after not using it for months. When I use it obviously I can see it get dirty as time goes by but the unit also gets dirty. This winter I didn't use these pads and realized that the unit gets dirty with same amount and speed.

Works great. If you have hard water, buy these in bulk. No longer using the machine they fit. Found these have risen in price drastically since I bought mine.
