It stated in the description that it has one but it does not. Make sure you want to plug/unplug it every time you want it on or off. Otherwise, it is decent for the price.

This humidifier does not work. I left it plugged in overnight in a very dry climate, and almost no water had evaporated by morning! No visible mist. Somewhat noisy.

Not a bad unit to have, it does what it's supposed to, does a good job of humidifying my room , the noise doesn't bother me much, I like white noise, it helps me relax and I actually fall asleep faster because of it and I wake up feeling refreshed instead of feeling more tired than when I went to sleep. I see some people complaining about the output of the unit, I guess they didn't bother reading the instructions where it says the unit will have to be run a few times before it operates a full capacity. Also people complained about the lack of being able to see the mist, if your room is over 30% humid you're not going to see a mist, that's normal also and doesn't indicate that unit isn't doing it's job. Filters for it are also easy to find, you can order more here at Amazon.com or directly from http://www.kaz.com. Now for the cons: The uh... directional grill shipped detached from the unit and as far as I can tell there is no way to get the dang thing to stay on unless I super-glue it to the hole, it doesn't line up perfectly either, the little notch doesn't match the hole it goes in, must be a manufacturer defect as far as I can tell. Also the place where the cord connects to the top part, there's a nice hole there for the cord to go through...well it also lets air go through too, I can feel air coming out of it, you might wanna plug that up with some modeling clay or some other non-toxic oil-free clay, I recommend Sculpy II. Other notes: The 4100K doesn't exist on the Kaz site, nor does the 4200 or 4220(the two with the on off switches and speed control respectivly) I believe they are discontinued. The 4100 however still does and Kaz continues to sell them.
