   I have three giant breed dogs (one American Mastiff and two English Mastiffs). On the low speed, this is the absolute PERFECT tool for keeping their nails nicely trimmed and without any sharp edges. It's very quiet, so it doesn't frighten the dogs. They sit still for dremeling (one actually falls asleep), which they never do if I use the traditional nail clippers. One charge lasts plently long enough for me to do all three of my dogs. This is one of my absoulte MUSTS for doggie ownership. Very highly recommended!

   This is an excellent small tool that works as it should, and with a very reasonable (low) price. I have found it to be very handy tool, light weight and of course cordless.

   I purchased this to trim my dog's nails like others have recommended. Not only did my dogs HATE it (they are 70 pound german shepherd/boxer mix and a 50 pound Basenji mix), but it didn't even work properly! The highest setting didn't work not to mention that it was just poorly made. Sent back immediately for a refund.

   I can fill up a pillowcase with the fur that came off with the initial brushes. I normally brush my golden retriever twice daily to minimise shedding and I still end up with a comb full of fur. After using the furminator, the shedding is largely minimised. I still brush my retriever twice daily but the fur that comes off is less than a handful. I would greatly recommend the furminator.

   It has worked great removing dog/cat hair. We like that when the hair comes off the animal it doesn't fly all over the place. We have noticed a reduction in fur around our house and our dog's coat does look really nice. Our cat's "dandruff" flakes have also lessened. We bought the large size and it was priced the best by far on Amazon.com but I feel it should still be priced less. I would never buy it for the retail price.

   The Furminator makes our chocolate Lab look wonderful during his undercoat shedding season. It fits our hands, either my extra large ones or Alisons small - medium hands. The Furminator works like a small rake in your hand and easily removes only Ruger's lighter colored undercoat. It leaves his deep chocolate coat shiney and bright. Ruger looks like a professional just finished grooming him for a dog show! We highly recommend the Furminator. Ted, Alison & 'Ruger'

   Used on stairs and firm hard to get at places this tool is a knockout. I could not believe the amount of material it picked up.I have seen some of the negative comments and conclude the users are the problem by way of application or understanding how the tool works. Having said this the price is too high for this and all Dyson add ons given that the cleaner is a major investment in itself.

   I have a new Absolute Asthma/Allergy upright... and bought this to use on my carpeted stairs. They are a high traffic area, and aren't the easiest to clean. Also, I've got a couple of cats who shed everywhere... what a pain. Anyhow, I found this to be a good tool overall. I didn't pay the full price... but I probably would have bought it anyhow.

   This is an awesome attachment for your Dyson. We have a chair our cats like to sit on and gets full of hair. This tool removed all the hair some even imbedded in the material. Some mentioned have problems with it but if it's used correctly it worked perfectly.
