This router attachment for Dremel is very poorly made. The plastic flexes a lot. The three pole design doesn't really any stability because the material is so flimsy. The height adjustment is simply a plastic bar which has offers no accuracy at all. Bottom line, this item so cheaply made that it's almost unusable. The 'real' Dremel 335 router attachment is a way better product then this Milescraft knock off with only couple dollars more.

I only have one issue and that is that you can't see you work after about 5 seconds, but I set a fan right next to the job and that seems to work well. Fantastic for small detail work.

This tool plunger turned my Dremel tool into a samll compact Plunge router. It is great for free hand work such as signs etc. It is very light weight to use and provides an economical solution if one already owns a Dremel.

I've owned this right angle attachment for about a year and used it about ten times. It's the kind of tool I wish I had never purchased - it works, just not very well. Since it's not defective, and the cost is low, I never bothered returning it. Pros: - easy to use, and it seems moderately robust with it's combination of metal gears and bushings housed in a thick plastic casing. - low cost Cons: - does not run true. If you put a pencil in the chuck it will trace a circle of more than 1/8". This is fine for rough work like drilling large holes through studs with a spade bit. For most anything else I find the wobble in the chuck renders it unacceptable. - big and bulky. The large size of this item makes it only slightly more useful than a small drill, especially when you take into account the large amount of runout in the chuck. Summary: Most of the time when I reach for this tool, I wind up putting it back and not using it, either because chuck runout is too excessive, or the bulk is such that I can find numerous better ways to do the job using quality tools. Construction is metal gears, metal bushings, loosely held in a thick plastic case. Save your money and spend it on a better quality tool.

I bought this for the purpose of drilling printed circuit boards with my Dremel tool. P.C. board drilling requires tiny drill bits, which must be run at very high speeds. The Dremel is perfect for this, except that it has to be stand-mounted. Any movement at all while drilling will cause the drill bit to snap. My overall opinion of this stand is that it's barely suited to do the job. It's flimsy, but far better than the stand that Dremel makes, which I consider to be a total piece of junk. The drill center column was covered in a fine coat of rust straight out of the box. The stand does have mounting holes and slots, which I consider a plus. Mounting grommets (for vibration?) were also supplied. My Dremel tool fit nicely into the mount, no problem. The instructions were not too good, but assembly is very easy. If you want a quality miniature high-speed drill, this is not for you, but prepare to shell out $250 or more for one. If you want something that's just enough to do the job, this should be suitable.

The tightening screw on the press I ordered has no threads to thread into the carrier rendering the press completely and utterly useless. The carrier just rests at the base and has no support. Be wary and buy at the store so you can check it out first.

This stand is much sturdier than I expected, as many of the other dremel attachments out there are plastic and flimsy feeling. In addition to being able to use this as a mini drill press, this is excellent as flexible shaft stand.

I purchased this for my husband's birthday. It looked like a well made item, but the reason I bought it was for his Dremel Rotary Tool...which doesn't fit on this. My husband returned it. I'm not sure what he's replacing it with.

After reading a couple of Internet reviews, I ordered this from Amazon. I have only experimented on a couple of pieces of MDF, but I had little trouble impressing my wife. Maybe she's easily impressed! Since I am still getting used to a plunge router, my only mistake was the depth slipping a little since I did not have it locked tight enough. No damage fortunately other than to the pattern. You may end up with a lot of extra plastic pieces. Turning the pattern is a bit of a pain since the pieces fit together rather snugly. Once you have it clamped down on the work piece, you really can't get your fingers around the template to lift it out. Hopefully over time, this will get a little wear around the edges, and the fit won't be so tight. The turn-lock base place, bushing guides, etc. are all extra pieces that I don't need. I end up with three pieces that I do need. Actually four if you count the fact the base plate is two half pieces that snaps together. Knowing this now, it seems a bit pricey for $35.00. Maybe Milescraft should offer a basic set without the turnlock plate, etc. I have to strongly disagree with another reviewer on a different Milescraft item as to their customer service. It has been great. I asked a couple of questions before purchasing the Spirocrafter concerning my base plate on a PC 891 router. Their response was very quick and courteous. I am also looking at the Signcrafter, again a courteous and quick email response in less than an hour, but I will again have a lot of extra pieces with the turnlock plate included in this also.
