I bought this filter in 2004 and used it for an year and then packed it up. I'm getting replacement filters and going to use it again.

This was the only purifier on the shelf at target that was certified for large rooms - 400 sq ft in fact, where all others were between 170-190 sq ft. It is quiet and it does the job exceedingly well. The price is really well under what I paid at Target($145), and should have looked here first. I would highly recommend this purifier. It does require 3 hepa filters to be replaced every 12-18 months for effective use.

I can breath easier since I bought the purifier. And it's not that loud like alot of them. Does a good job on keeping cigarette smoke cleared from room and takes the odor out. A good machine.
