I researched for months to find the best nailer for a DIY roofer. This nailer worked like a gem! Light weight, and didn't jam once.

Roofing nailers are one tool I don't have a lot of experience with. All my other nailers are Hitachi, and based on reviews and price I bought this one with confidence. I put it to work on a small roof the day it arrived. Around 5000 1 1/4" nails without one hiccup. To date I have not had a single problem; just oil and go...can't ask for anything more. I wish Hitachi would include a molded case for their larger nailers but I wouldn't purchase any other brand regardless.

Works good on asphalt singles, but if you try to use it on hardiplank boards, it is hit or miss.
