I bought this set as a Christmas gift and I already had an identical set for myself. They are great knives. The come VERY sharp and hold the edge well. The price here is as good as you will find anywhere.

Don't even waste your time reading a one star review on this product. It is clearly unfounded. After buying my first Henckels chef knife and block I was sold on this German cutlery. Although Henckels does make cheaper consumer grade knives with lower quality, the Five Star series is definatly not one of them. You get what you pay for. I bought my kitchen-loving brother this Santoku set for Christmas and I almost kept it for myself. With great remorse I gave them to him and he is now a fan. I extremely like the way they feel in my hand, and they are lighter than my other Henckels without being too light. They are frighteningly sharp and seem like they will never need use of the lifetime warrenty. My only two cons to this product are minor: 1) As with all of the other brands that I've noticed, the hollowed divets only help to prevent food sticking but do not eliminate it. 2) The Henckels emblem on the handles are only STICKERS!! After a few washes they fall off. I was disapointed by this but it does not deter from the products quality.

I have received product different from my ordered it. I got it the day before yesterday, opened yesterday. Without doubtly I use 4-inch knife. But it's not good. so I compared My product with picture in homepage. Oh!my god! It's different. 7inch knife in homepage picture is written ~germany. But my knife is just Germany.There is a number beside square. but my knife isn't any number. Also,there is no MADE IN GERMANY in box. I think It's may be MADE IN CHINA. I want a refund!!!
