...and for a vacuum, that's NOT good! Do NOT NOT NOT buy this vacuum!!!! When we got ours, the very first day, the flimsy little dealy bopper that you wrap the cord around broke off. It has only been downhill with this vacuum since then. It clogs ALL THE TIME! I can't vacuum the entire house with out it clogging. When it clogs, it overheats and shuts down. You then have to unplug it, unclog it (This is a MESSY procedure!), wait 30 minutes and then maybe it will start again. Hopefully you got all the clogs out because if you didn't, it will overheat and shut down again in 5 minutes or so. This vacuum makes me want to rip out all my carpet and live with subfloors until we can afford to put hardwood down. It's the absolute WORST vacuum I've ever owned.

This vacuum cleaner is GARBAGE. It was advertised as a pet vac. What a joke. I've had it about six months. The "performance" light has been on since about a month after I bought it. I have to constantly clean out clogs and now it has lost all suction. I've taken it apart three times trying to fix it. No more. I'm putting it out with the trash next week. $150 WASTED. I will never buy a Eureka again and I don't suggest you do either.

This vacuum is a sure buy if you have an unimportant member of the family you want to sacrifice for the sake of dustless leaving. I'm writing this because I'm the one who volunteered to clean this thing. Let me assure you that everything Capture Plussed up by the Eureka will be promptly inhaled by you upon cleaning, and the better job it's doing picking up dust,... you got the picture. This thing needs cleaning almost every other time you use it, and if you happen to own it, I'm telling you - the red light you normally see is NOT normal, it means that Capture + is really missing the main point. You have to: Open the tank, unscrew the little filter, get the unavoidable #$%&* falling on your hand, wash and clean the foam filter, tank, take a shower, pretend you are still in good mood, etc. On the other hand, this becomes a strong buy if you have unwanted family member visiting. You can casually ask whoever to take care of vacuuming you home once you are at work. The intruder will flee after just couple of days guaranteed of your money back. Come on, it's not that expensive for the reason. So.. it's either 1 or 5 stars depending on the purpose.
