I bought this for a good price on sale. It was missing a piece and I had to send away for the piece. It took quite a while for the piece to arrive and although it was free apparently I was meant to send in my proof of purchase to get the piece for free (which wasn't in the instructions and may have been why it took so long).It was easy to put together myself and it didn't take much time. I was disappointed that one of the shelves had some faults in the finishing. Once together the bookshelf looks nice from a distance, I like the color of the finish. However, up close I don't think that it looks like a great quality piece. It's not terribly sturdy, it does wobble a bit when it's empty. I would not load it up with textbooks, but it's not too flimsy either. The shelves are small and don't hold much, I'm unable to put a few of my taller books on them. All considered it's probably better than other options in the same price range. I am considering buying another one, but mainly so that it can match the one I already have.

I was a little leery about ordering this bookcase as the other review said it was wobbly. But it exactly fit in the small area I needed - 25 inches, so I ordered it anyway. Also, it was on sale on the Friday specials, so the price was very reasonable. I am so glad I purchased this item as it is fantastic! Very well built, does not wobble at all, the finish on it is beautiful with no flaws - a nice espresso dark color. I even bought the two baskets that fit on the bottom shelf, and it makes for a beautiful bookshelf unit. Don't hesitate to purchase it if you are looking for a small bookcase for a small area. You will be very happy with how well built this book case is.

Loved the look of this but once it arrived and we assembled it, it's not very sturdy (wobbles). So--nice for the price...but not a solid piece of furniture, and smaller than I expected (exact same item is listed at Target but with larger dimensions).
