I wanted a heavy duty vac that could do both hard surfaces and carpet. This product came highly recommended for just that purpose, but when I used it on my hard surface flooring, it just blew everything around. So why the four stars? With two dogs, a cat, and three indoor rabbits, this vac does a fantastic job at picking up fur and dirt out of the carpet and off my couch.
