I purchased the Dualit toaster about 12 months ago and am glad that I did. I wanted a pink toaster to match my kitchen decor and I was sold on the Dualit idea because of its reputation for quality workmanship. The toaster produces excellent toast. Though the clock ticking noise may be annoying for some people, I like it. The toast that is produced is crisp on the outside but still moist on the inside which is just the way my husband and I prefer our toast to be cooked. I like the crumb tray feature; it makes for easy cleaning. I also purchased the sandwich case and I am very pleased with the quality of the toasted sandwiches. Overall, the toaster is a little on the pricey side, but I think it's worth every penny.

Once you get past the price, this toaster is great........it works ever time with bagels, english muffins, homemade bread, toasted to perfection & it is NOT made in China........It is a STANDOUT product and worth every penny.

I'm the ultimate kitchen fanatic. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and sometime professional chef, I know and want for myself the very best products that I can find. The Dualit definitely qualifies in that category. I've used one in my home for many years. When I was burgled recently, the toaster was one of the items taken. A thief with good taste! The poor babies who complain that they cannot make good toast with a Dualit either have defective machines (rare, but all things are possible) or they are hopelessly inept. Week after week I produce slice after slice of perfect, evenly browned toast. The Dualit is a superbly engineered, wonderfully crafted simple machine. It does precisely what you ask it to do; nothing more, nothing less. If you have an appreciation for genuine quality and a palate that enjoys nicely toasted bread, this is the toaster you want.
