Corona Clipper WL-6431 Professional Bypass Lopper

Corona's professional bypass lopper seems to be the Cadillac of loppers. A comfortable 26 inches long, the lopper has blister-deterring nonslip grips and tapered hickory handles. The forged Radial Arc bypass blade has a 2-1/4-inch-diameter cutting capacity. The lopper also boasts a slant-ground hook with a self-cleaning sap groove for consistently smooth cutting. We have to admit, however, that we're really wowed by the neoprene ShockStop shock bumpers. Side by side with other bumpers we've tested, the ShockStop bumpers prove to be distinctly superior in effectiveness and durability. This is the medium-size version of the professional bypass lopper; it is also available in 30- and 20-inch models. --Ariel Meadow Stallings
