The clock works. The buttons (for example, for setting the time) often respond to being pressed, but not always--they are horribly cheap and unreliable. All buttons, including the alarm's snooze button, are located under a plastic button lid--if you don't like fumbling for "snooze" you will hate this. I bought it because I am sick of 12-hour clocks and this one does 24H, and it can display red (less glare than other colours).
