The kitchen is considered as the heart of any home. Being a home-maker, I strongly feel that kitchen should be the most respected area of any house. This part should not only remain clean and hygienic but also well-set, presentable and up-to-date.

One of the areas where we tend to get lax is that of kitchen chair cushions. Kitchen seat cushions not only feel good and look great but also play a major role to let people spend time together. Therefore it is very important that these cushions should be purchased keeping in mind the comfort factor.

The size of the chair will determine the size of the cushion your chair will hold. To ensure comfort seating, make sure that your cushion falls slightly over the edge of the chair. However, neither too big nor too small cushions will make you comfortable.

For example, you may like to have a tufted cushion because it is really comfy, is thicker and denser, and gives quite a sophisticated look.

* We discover plethora of styles when we step into the market. For example, some cushions have ties to secure within the chair while some don’t. Some ties may be deliberately made obvious while others might be very discreet.

* Also the edging of the cushion can be made with your choice. Though a tiny element to consider, yet the effect it will create can be magnetic.  You could select whip stitch edging, box edging, knife edging etc.

Create the look with Fabric

Fabrics used can create the entire new look to your kitchen. You can choose to purchase the matching fabric for draperies or curtains, or prefer to find a contrasting one to complement your chair cushions. They can be chosen in Cotton, Velvet, Corduroy or any other depending on the rest of your décor.
