Cen-Tec Systems CT20DX Quiet Drive Power Brush & Wand A high quality, high performance replacement 14 width residential powerbrush for central vacuums, backpack vacuum and some canister style vacuum cleaners. The CT20DX powerbrush includes a wand for connection to your existing powered vacuum hose. Requires recessed connection type Plastiflex gas-pump or Centec stub grip hose. Some images and information below refer to or show the CT20DXQS, a Quiet Drive powerbrush with Dirt Sensor available in the CVA72 attachment kit. The standard CT20DX does not include a dirt sensor. Recognizing years ago that to offer consistent cleaning performance a vacuum's spinning brush needed a better power transfer from the motor to the floor than the usual stretch-on rubber belt. The old style rubber belt was useful at slower speeds and offered protection for the system if a large object was inadvertently pulled into the spinning brush. Most everyone knows the
