Carlton 110 Volt Chain Grinder

This is a Chinese made copy of the Oregon 511A grinder. The machine has several shortcomings when compared to the precision built Italian models, however for the casual user it is very functional (see below for a comparison of the machines). It features a rotating clamping device and handles all pitches of chain except 1/2" and 3/4". The built-in light illuminates the sharpening zone nicely. It uses the same wheels as the Oregon 511A and the Speed Sharp grinders and most of the parts are interchangeable. We recommend purchasing a set of our higher quality grinding wheels even though the machine comes with an 1/8" and 3/16" wheel. Mounts to a bench nicely. Some basic assembly required.
