Use soft lights for the night – Switch on lampshades which emit soft, soothing light. This kind of lighting creates a romantic ambiance at night. It has to be subtle as this ensures great sleeping conditions.
Bright lights for lively mood – You can create a lively atmosphere with candelabra chandelier. It brightens up everything else in the room. It can be a perfect mood lifter for a couple.

Along with all this you can create romance by putting some cushions on the bed. Choose the color and texture of cushions according to the other room accessories and wall color. Pick soft cushion colors such as light blue, white, pink or yellow. Use red and white heart shaped pillows in the bedroom.
