The perfect bedding for a shabby chic bedroom

If you are trying to pick shabby chic bedding to match the décor in your bedroom then you’ve come to the right place. Or if you’re revamping your whole room into a shabby chic style bedroom I have some ideas for you as well. For those who don’t know shabby chic décor is usually when furniture and furnishing have an aged look to them.

When it comes to bedding anything that seems extra feminine or cottage-style is perfect for achieving that shabby chic style. Try pastel blue bedding for king size beds. The light blue shade it will make is what you want to keep it feminine and soft. If you want, add some white lacy throw pillows to complete your shabby chic bed spread.

In general light colors, lace, whites and cream colors are all perfect when considering materials and colors for your shabby chic bedding. There are many options out there even though you are looking for a certain style. Pay attention to the rest of the décor and colors in your bedroom. Make sure that nothing will clash. Light pink is one of my favorite colors to include in shabby chic décor.

Another fun idea for your shabby chic bedding is to consider bedspreads with ruffles. These also has a very antique look which is what you want for your shabby chic bedroom. Ruffles are just an all-around feminine and fun style for bedding.

Again you can also try lacey items in your room and with your bedspread. As for the rest of your room make sure you don’t have any furniture that looks brand new or bold in color. If you need to help to the look up a notch try painting your walls a new shade of white or pastel blue to match your new king size comforter!
