Despite this being a bit pricey considering what it is...a wire basket, I think it will be useful for rinsing. The fact that it exactly fits in my new sink's smaller basin is wonderful, however, that's also the disposal side so there will be no way to slice the unusable veggie parts off and dump them in the sink simultaneous with putting the keeper parts in this basket for rinsing. That didn't dawn on me before purchasing this. If the small side of the Blanco sink ISN'T your disposal side, this thing could be very handy. It's certainly sturdy enough.
