We could no longer purchase the original battery type but these do just fine so you can believe B & D on compatibility.

We were getting ready to toss the old dustbuster. It ran out of juice in about 2 minutes. The new ones all use different batteries and would require setting up a new charging and storing station. Thank the Lord I had the idea of replacing the batteries . We did so and it is not as good as new it is better than new.

I use these in a B&D cordless vac that I have had for years. They last a long time and hold the charge very well. Hard to find in a brick and mortar store, but as usual Amazon had them.
