Did not clean the carpets at all. Does dry quick, but if the carpet is not clean you have wasted your time. This unit did not work the second time I used it. Called the company and they had me take it apart and fix it while on the phone. It's a piece of junk. Don't waste your money.

I had shopped around for a carpet cleaner. This one is good for the money. I used it and it does just as it says, dries in about 30 minutes. I thought the cleaning could have been a little better but going to try it again with different cleaner to see if that will help. But overall, I am pleased with it.

What a waste of money. The PROdry was easy to use; but after cleaning my living room carpet which had only been spot cleaned in about the last 3 years, the water was barely dirty. It should have been filthy. Even after several passes over each area, I couldn't tell that it did anything. They do recommend using a separate pre-treatment before cleaning traffic areas; but after reading that the roller needs replacing after 6 months and costs $20, I can't see spending anything else on this machine. I hope I'll be able to return it.
