Arborist Air Spade Tool

The Air-Spade is a lightweight, rugged and durable handheld tool that allows you to remove dirt from around roots with minimal disturbance to the roots themselves. The Air-Spade produces a stream of supersonic air moving at Mach 2. It effectively penetrates and dislodges most types of soil, but is harmless to non-porous objects such as plant roots, buried pipes, or cables. It's also proven to dig up to 50 percent faster than other air excavation equipment and much safer than digging by hand. We offer the Air-Spade as a stand alone unit (shown above with 45 degree adapter, not included) as well as the Arborist & Landscaper Kit (#AS 2000K - see Related Items, below) which comes complete with Air-Spade 4 foot barrel, 150 cfm/90 psi nozzle, Air-King hose fitting, 45 degree angled adapter, 10' comfort hose, locking/rolling storage case, lock and manual.
